In 2009, Henry Roedan, a young Dominican immigrant with aspirations and a strong desire for success, acquired Chimiking, whose initiative was to introduce the Latino community to the urban flavors of his country, offering the Chimichurri and Yaroa at a modest food truck.
Soon, Chimiking became the attraction for both Latinos residing in Florida and a must-visit spot for those visiting Orlando, FL.
With Henry’s the vision and determination, combined with the support of his Puerto Rican wife Letty and children, Chimiking’s fusion of both countries’ cuisine bore fruit over the years, and became a recognized quality brand.
Today, we have five restaurants and one food truck distributed throughout Orlando, FL, and we continue to work towards further expansion. We are focusing on keeping the charm of our beginnings while expanding our menu with a high range of Latin products intrinsic to the tropics, focused on Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, to please the most demanding palates.
